Welcome!

I am an independent software architect specialized in Enterprise Java, Web services and XML. Most time of the year I contribute to projects of international clients as an architect, senior developer or consultant. Besides, I also frequently provide training, teaching both Java and Web service technologies. My clients include internationally renowned companies from many different industries, including financial services, tourism, research, the public sector and some of the largest IT companies.

Very frequently I am invited to present on international technical conferences, where I enjoy to share my knowledge and experiences with fellow architects and developers. I've written numerous articles for software development magazines and two books about developing Java Web service applications. The first one, "Java Web Services with Apache Axis" was published in German only in 2004, the second one is about the new Apache Axis2 framework and was published in German language in April 2007. A translation to English language will follow in 2008 (hopefully). Besides, I have written a chapter explaning the Web Service technology stack for a book about SOA (Service Oriented Architectures), which was also published in 2007.

On this website you'll find information about the services and training courses I offer, the articles I have written, the conferences I've been invited to, my books and much more. Should you have any questions or comments, or if you are seeking an acknowledged expert for Enterprise Java, Web services, Apache Axis / Axis2 or software architectures, you are welcome to contact me anytime.

Meet me at the JAOO conferences in Sydney and Brisbane!
