Welcome!

I am an independent software architect specialized in Enterprise Java, Web services and XML. Most time of the year I spend doing hands-on project work for various clients. But I also provide training courses, teaching both Java and Web service technologies. My clients include organisations from many different industries, including financial services, tourism, research, the public sector and some of the largest IT companies worldwide.

You can frequently meet me at technical conferences around the world, where I enjoy to present and to share my experiences with fellow architects and developers. Over time, I've published numerous articles for software development magazines and two books about developing Java Web service applications. The first one, "Java Web Services with Apache Axis" was published in German only in 2004. The second book covers the new Apache Axis2 framework and was published in German language in April 2007. I am still hoping that a translation to English language will follow one day. Furthermore, I have contributed a chapter explaining the Web Service technology stack for a book about SOA (Service Oriented Architectures) that was also published in 2007.

At this website you'll find information about the consulting services I provide, available training courses, published books and articles, past presentations at conferences and much more. Should you have any questions or comments, or if you are seeking an acknowledged expert for Enterprise Java, Web services or Apache Axis / Axis2, please get in touch.
